Introduction


Welcome to the new “Dink Responsibly” Newsletter for February 15, 2024! We will provide free, local pickleball news, schedules, updates, tips, and announcements for our local pickleball community. We will publish twice monthly, on the 1st and 15th of every month. Look for us in your inbox and let us know what you think!


 

2024 Indoor Court Options:

2. Doylestown –

  • Doylestown Pickleball is hosted by Camp Curiosity on a beautiful 55-acre farm in Central Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

  • It all started in 2017 with just four friends playing together.

  • Over the years, it has grown steadily, and we now have 21 indoor and outdoor courts.

  • Rain or shine! Enjoy indoor pickleball on our 12 beautifully lit courts.

  • Stay warm in the winter and cool in the summer with a nice breeze from fans!

  • Clinics and lessons taught by certified pickleball pros.

4. Mercer Bucks –

  • Mercer Bucks Pickleball Club (MBPC) invites all levels of Pickleball players to have fun and get fit.

  • With flexible membership options and pricing, members can reserve private courts, take lessons, or join a Social (Open) Play activity organized by skill level or theme.

  • You can even host your next private gathering or corporate function here!

  • We are conveniently located in Ewing, NJ off of I-295 (not far from the Trenton-Mercer airport).

Local Updates/Announcements:


1. Pickleball Kingdom

  • The Scottsdale, AZ-based startup that launched in May 2020, They did not identify specific locations but said it seeks entrepreneurs in the area to help develop new clubs. “We are expanding into central New Jersey and Bucks County, PA!” according to a company post on Facebook. “Now is the time to join the Kingdom and franchise with PK!” The pickleball hunger in Bucks County, where games already are played in municipal programs and clubs from Doylestown and Southampton, to Yardley, Falls Township and Bristol, is “ravenous,” said Ace Rodriguez, head of the sports complex franchise.
